In-app alerts Status: In development
In-app alerts are being built to work like this. They are not available, and nothing runs automatically today. This capability is in development and not yet available. What it does, and whether and when it is released, may change.
- A check would compare what each saved search matches now, in data we already hold, with what it matched at the previous check. It would make no new request to any listing provider.
- Three kinds of alert are planned: new matches, asking-price drops and screening-score changes.
- Strict about “new”: a listing would count as a new match only if it was first stored after your search started watching, and a price drop only against a price this search recorded earlier for the same listing. If no new listing data had arrived, the inbox would say so: “Watching — no new listing data since the last check.”

Saved searches and any future alerts reflect stored data, not the live market. A listing can sell before you see it. Listing figures are a stored snapshot from an authorized third-party provider, fetched on a recorded date. They are not live inventory, they cover only part of the provider’s listings, and a listing may have changed or ended since it was fetched. We are not an MLS or a listing service.
